The population of the Cincinnati, OH-KY-IN metropolitan statisical area is on the rise.

From 2010 to 2016, the metro area grew from 2,117,889 to 2,165,139, an increase of 47,250 residents. This increase of 2.2% makes the region the #239 fastest growing MSA over that period, and the 40 fastest growing area with a base population of over a millions

Certainly some of the population growth can be attributed to birth rate, but where are all the other people coming from?

An additional Census study, released last week, gives us some answers. The recent study reveals data about metro-to-metro migration trends over the course of 2011 to 2015.
