My best tip for a healthy lawn is never mow lower than 3 inches. You'll inhibit weed growth and prevent the burning off that often occurs during dry spells. My best gardening advice is to plant native species. They require little maintenance, and provide crucial habitat for beneficial insects and birds. My best tip for landscaping is to use ground cover plants beneath shrubs to inhibit weed growth, prevent soil erosion, and retain moisture.
